Copyright policy

I love sharing recipes with the outdoor community and I enthusiastically encourage folks to try my recipes, adapt them, reproduce them, and even re-post them with credit to the Seasoned Hiker blog.

These recipes are not to be used for financial gain or commercial applications by any party without my express written consent. Backpackers belong to a fairly small community, those with an interest in trail cooking are even smaller, those who publish their recipes are smaller still. Any reproductions without consent will be immediately apparent. I believe the members of our community deserve creative respect (for our recipes, for MYOG innovations, trail tips, gear and trip reviews, and so on), so if I use someone else's content I will always give credit and link to the original source. I expect the same respect from others. If you see your recipe on my blog without credit, please let me know right away. If you see my recipe on someone else's blog without credit, please let me know as well.
